Terms and conditions

Central Innovation Scheduled Training Terms and Conditions

These terms apply to scheduled training courses purchased directly or booked using Central Innovation Training Passport credits.

1. Course bookings

1.1 Scheduled training is delivered on the dates, times and in the delivery format shown for the relevant course.

1.2. Customers must provide accurate attendee information and accurate email address.

1.4 Customers are responsible for ensuring that attendees meet any prerequisites stated for the course.

2. Payment and refunds

2.1 Once purchased, scheduled training and Training Passports are non-refundable to the extent permitted by applicable consumer law.

2.2 Nothing in these terms excludes, restricts or modifies any rights or remedies that cannot lawfully be excluded under applicable consumer law.

3. Customer-requested re-enrolment

3.1 A customer who needs to move an attendee to another scheduled course date must notify Central Innovation at least seven days before the original course start date.

3.2 Re-enrolment is subject to availability on an alternative scheduled course date.

3.3 Central Innovation reserves the right to refuse a re-enrolment request received less than seven days before the original course start date.

3.4 If Central Innovation accepts a re-enrolment request received less than seven days before the original start date, this does not create an entitlement to further late re-enrolment requests.

4. Attendee substitution

4.1 A customer may request to substitute another attendee from the same organisation, provided that the replacement attendee meets the applicable course prerequisites.

4.2 The customer must provide accurate details for the replacement attendee before the course commences.

5. Non-attendance

5.1 If an attendee does not attend the scheduled training and Central Innovation was not notified in advance, the training seat is considered redeemed.

5.2 Where the booking was made using Training Passport credits, the applicable credits are considered used.

6. Changes made by Central Innovation

6.1 Central Innovation reserves the right to reschedule a training course up to three Business Days before its planned start date.

6.2 If Central Innovation reschedules a course, the customer will be offered an alternative scheduled date.

6.3 Where the original booking was made using a Training Passport, Central Innovation will extend the Training Passport validity period if an extension is required so that the customer can attend the alternative date offered by Central Innovation.

7. SOLIDWORKS licence requirements

7.1 Access to an appropriate SOLIDWORKS licence is required to participate in SOLIDWORKS training.

7.2 The customer is responsible for ensuring that each attendee has access to the SOLIDWORKS licence or licences required for the applicable course.

7.3 A SOLIDWORKS licence is not included in the standard training course fee.

7.4 If an attendee does not have access to their own appropriate SOLIDWORKS licence, the customer must notify Central Innovation before the course and purchase the additional remote-access service.

7.5 The remote-access service provides access to a Central Innovation training computer for the applicable training course.

8. Training Passports

8.1 A Training Passport is a prepaid bundle of training-day credits that may be used by eligible attendees from the purchasing organisation.

8.2 Training Passport credits may only be redeemed against eligible scheduled courses.

8.3 Training Passport credits cannot be used for private, custom, on-job or non-scheduled training unless Central Innovation expressly agrees otherwise.

8.4 Training Passport credits are valid for 12 months from the date of purchase.

8.5 Courses booked using Training Passport credits must take place within the applicable 12-month validity period, except where Central Innovation provides an extension under clause 6.3.

8.6 Unused Training Passport credits expire at the end of the applicable validity period and are non-refundable to the extent permitted by applicable consumer law.

8.7 Training Passport credits must be used for an entire course. Credits cannot be used to attend only selected days of a multi-day course.

8.8 Purchasing a Training Passport does not guarantee that every eligible course will be offered on a particular date or that places will remain available. Customers are encouraged to select and book suitable course dates as early as possible.
